Applicant must have to declare that there is no criminal record in past in the name of the applicant.

Applicant must have to provide an affidavit that there are no dues pending in the name of the applicant.

HOW TO GET A LIQUOR LICENSE:

Here is the step wise process to obtain a liquor license -

1. You can easilyapply for liquor license online, simply go to the official website of your State Excise Department and download the application form. Fill in all necessary details in the application form. After filling out the form, submit it to the concerned authority along with the application fee, which is different in every state. 
2. Mention all the essential details in the application form of liquor license registration, like the type of liquor license, details of the place of liquor serving or selling, type of liquor, etc. and don’t forget to mention each and every detail of the applicant that is required along with relevant documents.

But you should ready essential documents, like your identity proof, residence proof, address proof of premises, incorporation certificate( in case of companies), ITR, etc.
4. After submission of application, the competent authority will verify all the documents submitted by you, and if necessary, it may also ask for additional documents from you regarding liquor license in India.
5. After verification, the concerned state authority shall post a notice on your personal or business address, with your name and the license details, after that this posted notice will open for local people to raise any kind of objections and communicate it to the state authority responsible for liquor license registration.
6. You will have a say in your defence, if any objection is raised. If there is no objection then the authority will review your application, and a liquor license will be issued to you.

Validity and renewal of a liquor license in India:

A liquor license is valid only for a period of one year, and you can renew it after the expiry of one year by filling out a separate renewal application form along with required fees. If you want to renew your liquor license, then you will have to apply for the same before thirty days of the expiry of the liquor license in India.

Revocation of the liquor license: The competent authority of the state can revoke the liquor license on any of the following grounds –

1. If the license holder is found to be guilty of serving liquor on dry days.
2. If the license holder violates any of the rules and regulations of the state.
3. If liquor is served to minors
